Here's Honey Bee! Honey Bee is a four-month old Golden-Doodle who lives in Duryea, PA. She was adopted from a breeder in Oklahoma when her owners Val & Linda lost their beloved Golden Retriever, Hummer. Honey Bee joins his 'big' brother Reece who is a long-haired Dachshund and not very big at all, at least not compared to Honey Bee!
A Golden-Doodle is a mix of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. They seem to have the hair of a Poodle which means they shed less than other dogs and the personality of a Golden Retriever. Both Golden Retrievers & Poodles are very smart and loving animals and the Golden-Doodle seems to have the best traits of both breeds.
Honey Bee certainly is a smart dog. She enjoys belly rubs and rolling around on the floor with Reece. Since Reece has stayed with us at the Casablanca two times in the past, at the young age of 7 months, he is charged with showing Honey Bee 'the ropes' here at the Casablanca. Together they are sure to find all the wild thyme that grows randomly in our lawn and will surely find time to roll around in it while here. When Honey Bee wants to take a break, she can be found with her head under a bed or a chair. This is her way of relaxing. We know Honey Bee loves to romp and play outdoors, going for walks and riding in the car. Seems she gets to do all of these things when she comes to Vermont for her vacation.
Honey Bee is young and has a lot of growing to do still. We're sure she'll be at least twice as big when she returns to the Casablanca for her next vacation. We're also sure she'll still have her wonderful disposition and will remember all the best spots to visit on our grounds and in the Manchester area. We look forward to your return Honey Bee and be sure to bring Reece, Val & Linda back when you come!
