Gwen is a 5 year old Great Dane who lives in Sutton, MA. When she came to the Casablanca Motel, she brought her owners Greg & Colleen. Greg tells us Gwen is a purebred from a breeder who was looking for a good home as she was a wonderful dog with lots of promise but did not have the qualities to compete as a show dog. Greg was thrilled to take her home and make her a part of his family. Since then she had grown immensely in size and in weight. She now weighs a whopping 130lbs but Greg tells us she often thinks she is a 10lb lap dog!
Gwen's favorite things include Greg & Colleen, Milk Bone dog biscuits, turkey dinners, organic cheese and her favorite toy is a stuffed bunny. She loves hiking, warm sunny days and sleeping in front of the fire (like so many people we know!). Gwen likes all people but is especially attracted to children. We don't know how she reacts but Greg tells us she hates the rain. Perhaps she doesn't like getting those big paws dirty.
Gwen may have been the 'runt' of the litter but in Greg & Colleen's eyes, she's their princess. Paws up Gwen!
