Conan & Beamer stayed nice and warm at the Casablanca Motel while their family moved them and all of their belonging to the area all the way from Idaho. It was their first time in Vermont and they were content to stay indoors instead of venturing outdoors where there was up to three feet of snow surrounding their cabin.
Conan & Beamer are brothers who are sometimes referred to as "The Nachos" by their parents, Chris & Lara. As kittens on a farm in Iowa, the two brothers were inseparable. This newly formed family of four moved to Idaho for a time and now are relocating to Cambridge, NY after a brief stay with us at the Casablanca Motel in Manchester, VT. These are well traveled cats who know home is where Chris & Lara are!
Conan loves to chase his laser light, investigate new places and enjoys snuggling. Beamer loves eating in general and often wakes his parents up in the early morning hours just to eat again.
Both cats have mastered the art of opening drawers and cabinets. Conan is especially talented when he stands on his back legs, grasps the top of a drawer with his paws and carefully walks backward to open them. He then climbs inside, explores what might be at hand then snuggles down for a nap.
We wish Chris & Lara all the best as they settle into their new home and the cats much fun exploring their new digs.
