Mia is a 7 year old German Shepherd belonging to Bob & Linda. She was chosen from a breeder as a puppy partly because she was born on the anniversary of the passing of Bob & Linda's former dog, Shelby. As another coincidence, Mia's doggie grandfather was named Bob too! Together they live in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
Mia has many nicknames such as Baby, Lovey, Girly friend, Doggie Biscuit and My Big Teddy Bear. Linda says it's a wonder she knows her real name! Mia loves people of all ages, swimming, chasing frogs, and getting combed. She loves her stuffed animal toys, chasing Frisbees, balls and playing with kids. She loves traveling and riding in the truck. In fact, she gets the whole back seat to herself and Bob & Linda ride in the front. She doesn't seem to care where she's going as long as she is with her family.
Mia loves coming to the Casablanca Motel where she gets to stay in her own cabin with her family. She gets taken for walks on the three acres of grounds at the motel and always enjoys the treats she gets upon check-in. She's a wonderful pet and we love her quiet enthusiasm when meeting new people. For such a large dog, she is one of the most gentle we've met.
